INDONESIAN WEDDING CEREMONY

Yesterday I went to Hakim and Putri's wedding. Below are their pictures :

The groom and his family arrived. 

The procession of Akad Nikah in front of Bapak Penghulu. Akad means covenant. And Nikah means marriage.

The complete meaning is implementation of marriage by consent and granted. CMIW :)

Everyone are praying after the Akad Nikah procession is completed.

Look at the bride, Putri. She is beautiful, isn't she?

After Akad Nikah, there is another ceremony. It's known as Temu Manten Ceremony. 

And of course after the whole ceremony, the important thing is eating. This is one of three main course, soto.
It's kind of soup with special spices. The other main course are rawon and meatballs.
